The Lince Hotels & Resorts

The Lince Hotels & Resorts group was founded on a 20-year experience in the hotel and construction industry when the two sole partners of the brand, João Freitas da Silva and Domingos Ferreira Correia, bet on the leadership of a group of sustained growth and expansion throughout the national market.
In 2007, the desire to create a hotel group was born, and in March 2008 the brand – The Lince Hotels & Resorts – was created, with the main focus being the acquisition, management and hotel exploration. The regular bet on the training of its employees is, for the brand, the crucial factor to maintain the quality of its services, as well as the way of appreciation and recognition by the employees, since they are part of the family of The Lince Hotels & Resorts.
Assuming dynamism and experience in a growing market, the brand acquired its first hotel unit in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Island in the Azores, on June 28, 2008 – The Lince Azores Great Hotel, Conference & Spa. At this time, a strategy was defined as a hotel unit of “Quatro Estrelas Premium”, a reference in the Azores and in the national market.
On April 1, 2011, The Lince Madeira Lido Atlantic Great Hotel, on the island of Madeira, is acquired by the group. In 2017, with a broader business vision, the group bets on the apartment segment and inaugurates its luxury apartments – The Lince Pópulo Beach Apartaments, a few minutes walk from the most beautiful beaches of the island of São Miguel. After a few months, the Lince Nordeste Country and Nature Hotel was inaugurated, located in the calm zone of the island of São Miguel, in the Northeast, with a concept differentiating of the one that the group was accustomed to.
Currently, the group’s objective, in the short term, is to remodel and implement new services. Excellence is always the goal, as is the conquest of new hotel units.

The Lince Hotels is part of the Arliz Group, which is present in different business areas in mainland Portugal and the islands, working in the civil construction, hotel management, insurance, underground parks and real estate development markets.
