The Lince Hotels & Resorts

In 2007, the desire to create a hotel group was born, and in March 2008 the brand “The Lince Hotels & Resorts” is created, the main mission was acquisition, management and hotel operation. The bet on the training of its employees, is for the brand, the crucial factor to maintain the quality of its services, as well a form of valorization and recognition by the employees, for being part of the family The Lince Hotels & Resorts.
Assuming dynamism and experience in a growing market, the brand acquired is first hotel in 28 June 2008, in Azores, São Miguel Island at Ponta Delgada, The Lince Azores Great Hotel, Conference & Spa. In this time was defined as strategy a unit “Four Star Premium” hotel ,a reference in the Azores and in the national market.
With a more comprehensive business vision, the group bets on Nature Tourism, in rural área and acquires The Lince Nordeste Country and Nature Hotel, located in the Northeast, of São Miguel.
A small charming unit with 24 rooms and 4 apartments, a large garden and a modern SPA, in the middle of the green Nature and the blue of the Atlantic.
In 2019 the group wins the concession of the Convent Santa Clara in Vila do Conde under the Revive program. The project provides an investment of more than 8 million euros in the construction of a charming 5 star hotel with 90 rooms. The new hotel will create 50 jobs and is scheduled to open in 2022.
During the year 2020, we began a large renovation at Hotel The Lince Azores, with complete renovation of rooms and corridors, common areas, restaurant and improved SPA services with 2 massage rooms, sauna, jacuzzi and Turkish bath. New spaces were created like a esplanade and terrace and also a Wine Bar.
We accelerate the digitization on several fronts of the hotel operation, from the check in, to payments, to consulting the Hotel information and ways of communicating with our customers, without forgetting the excellence in the service that we provide.
